Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1. Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of all services provided by Zypher ("Service") and is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. By using our Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Its purpose is to protect our network, customers, and the internet community from irresponsible or illegal activities.
2. Prohibited Content and Activities
You may not use our Service to host, store, or transmit any content or engage in any activity that is illegal, harmful, or offensive. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Illegal Content: Any content that violates local, state, national, or international law. This includes, but is not limited to, child pornography, content that promotes illegal acts, or pirated software.
- Intellectual Property Infringement: Hosting or distributing content that infringes on the copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights of others.
- Harmful or Fraudulent Content: Content that is defamatory, fraudulent, or deceptive. This includes phishing sites, malware, viruses, trojan horses, or any other type of malicious code.
- Offensive Content: Content that is grossly offensive to the community, including expressions of bigotry, hatred, or harassment.
3. System and Network Abuse
You may not use the Service in a way that compromises the security, stability, or performance of our systems or network. Prohibited activities include:
- Denial of Service (DoS/DDoS): Initiating, hosting, or participating in any attack that disrupts service for any host or network.
- Unauthorized Access: Accessing or attempting to access any system, account, or data without permission.
- Resource Over-usage: Consuming excessive amounts of server resources (CPU, memory, disk I/O) that negatively impact other customers. This includes activities like cryptocurrency mining.
- Network Scanning: Probing or scanning for vulnerabilities on any network or system without authorization.
- Blacklisted Providers: Using our services in conjunction with any service originating from a hosting provider or network that is on our internal blacklist.
4. Email and Messaging Policy
You may not use our services to send unsolicited bulk email (spam). All bulk email must be opt-in. Sending spam from our network or sending spam that references a site hosted on our network will result in immediate service suspension.
5. Enforcement and Violations
Violation of this AUP is a serious offense and will be treated as a breach of our Terms of Service. We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violation. We may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice and without a refund if a violation is found.
We will cooperate with law enforcement agencies if any illegal activity is suspected.
